  1. Kia ora Niamh!

My name is Mikey. I'm a member of the Summer Learning Journey team this year and I'll be commenting on some of your wonderful blog posts. I'm so pleased to see that you've made a start on the teaser week activities - well done! :)

You've come up with some really great new words. I think 'malatala' is my favourite. 'Hubshehubsheya' is pretty good too. :)
Did you enjoy doing this activity? I really like the ones where you get to be a bit more creative.

Have you read the BFG? Or seen the movie? I'm a big fan of Roald Dahl's books. I loved reading them when I was at school.

Congratulations again on completing your first teaser week activity. Remember that the programme officially starts next Monday (December 16th), so make sure you check out the Week 1 activities on the website then. In the meantime, keep going with the teaser week tasks - I can't wait to see more posts from you! :)

    Bye for now,

    Mikey

    2. Hi Niamh,

      You are more than welcome.

What was your favourite part of the movie? I watched it so long ago that I can barely remember what happens! You'll have to refresh my memory. :)

Oh, good question. If you click on the name that comes up on top of my comments (Mikey SLJ), it'll take you to my Blogger account. Then you can click on the link that says 'Welcome to my blog' and you'll be able to find out a little bit more about me. :)

Have a good night, Niamh. Talk soon,

      Mikey
